Every year, the largest online Doom community organize its Cacowards ("Cacodemon Awards") for the best mods produced in the year. Traditionally it is about the best ten mods of the year, but between the special award categories ("best multiplayer", "best gameplay", etc.) and the runners up or honorable mentions it's usually nearly double that in mod recommendations.

My favorite cacoward ever has to be 2009, because then Hellground won. One of the best mapsets I've played.

I always come in for the Mockaward, but stay for the best maps.
