I trust GOG would try to get both the original edition and expansion pack and the BFG edition in the same package. Just look how games like and [url=https://www.gog.com/game/star_wars_tie_fighter_special_edition]TIE Fighter are available in three different versions corresponding to original DOS floppy, DOS CD, and Windows CD versions.

Not to mention BFG contains a whole new episode.
I'm sure we'll see the original version and its expansion as well as the BFG edition on GOG eventually.

At the same time however there's Chronicles of Riddick which a whole lot of people see as the worse version. And we only have that one.

It's kind of all up in the air IMO, especially when you talk about Bethesda. They already did similar with the Fallout classic downloads since the un-updated version of that isn't available anymore.
