When trying to play the screecher mod, don't starve says i need to restart. After restarting, it still says I need to restart. I've reinstalled already, and ran the updater..anything i need to do to make this work?

The same.
Because they again forgot to pack the necessary files.The GOG version is always poorly treated by the developers.

Thanks. That's really too bad. I guess I should have gotten this on steam instead. Have you found any way to manually install the mod? I did a bit of googling but I did not come up with anything.

I think the only way now is to copy the MOD folder from a Steam version.
And perhaps Klei will realize the fact and update the content later.
