The installer loads, but the setup process halts shortly after it begins with the error show in the screenshot.
I've downloaded the installer twice, thinking it might have been corrupted the first time, but I continue to run into the same error.

Anyone else encountered this, or know of a solution?

Have you tried right-clicking on the setup file and selecting Run as Administrator? It looks less like a corrupt installer and more like a rights issue.

Disable your AV/security software during the install. It's likely interfering by locking or deleting the file.
