10/27 as announced, and will there be any kind of lag for those who already own the GOG distribution of the original game? Anyone know? I'm 5.5 hours away from 10/27 so it seemed prudent to ask...;)

Release is 10am PDT, in just over 18 hours, according to GOG's countdown timer (they've been adding the EE to the library of existing D:OS owners over Friday and today).

Yes. GOG was sending out emails Friday and yesterday, so hopefully they will finish that off before release.

According to the countdown timer in the library entry for EE, there are 10 hours, 38 minutes left before it will be available.

I've not had an email and nothing has changed to my game in the list etc... Should I panic and jump out the window or will something happen to it today before 5 / 6pm launch>?

I received my email just 40m ago, so GOG is still sending them out, so just be patient :-)

Check out your library...the EE edition is already in mine, with a notification of "soon"...;) Click on the game as if you were preparing to download it, and you'll see the countdown timer counting down...mine says 3 hours, 30 minutes and change ...very nicely done!

It's clear that GOG must be playing catch-up: I have a "coming soon" notification on Steam, but nothing yet at GOG -- yes, I've purchased both. There's still 5 hours to go here (GMT) before release so the message is still "be patient". :)

Yeah I don't see EE either, just the same DD as normal... Hoping this will update soon.
