bengeddes: Thank you, this worked quite perfectly. High resolutions w/ no map crash, preserving 1.34 changes.

BUT that the music transitions are removed again. I hear the same two songs everywhere I go where in v1.34 I hear about 15 different pieces of music (with exact same savegame). Must be some problem in one of the four files you mentioned, since those were the only things that changed.

Ultimately, I'm sick of messing around with the GoG version of this game. It's just a bad release. I'm just sticking with retail v1.34. You can still use high resolutions with retail 1.34 (just not the world map), and the bugs "fixed" with v1.5 are not worth all the new ones introduced. I'm out.
