I'm using a bow user Survivor, but didn't know if I should invest in Stun or not. Since the skill description didn't mention that the skill is limited to melee weapons, so I said why not?
But, as always, I had to be sure, so I started a searching rampage on the internet because I could not find anywhere if it worked or not.
Until I found this:

As always, Raze the Great :) seems to have answered it there.
"Stun only effects melee attacks. I don't know of any way to change that. You can use Poison Weapon on a bow, but not the warrior's passive, melee-only damage bonus spell."
Point of this thread? Just wanted to share it with you. I nearly gave up and decided to actually try the skill in-game just before I found that thread. You shouldn't waste your time looking for the answer now.
