I bought and downloaded this DLC but I can't install it. "The base game was not detected".

My guess would be that the DLC intaller expects the first version of the game and it cannot detect patched versions. But I can't try with an unpatched game because GOG replaced the installer with an already patched version.

Is there a way to install the DLC anyway?

I just installed the 1.0.57+ to 1.0.74 and 1.0.74 to 1.0.81 patches, and was able to install the DLC. I had it installed previously, though (uninstalled and reinstalled the game to check something in a previous version, so was at 1.0.67).

Did you start the game, create a profile, exit and then try installing the DLC?
The DLC should be added to the '..\Divinity - Original Sin\Data\DLC' install folder, though, and any required registry entries added by the game installer and/or patches.

Same here, I was only able to apply one patch as the first patch was the same version of the installer. DLC still does not detect my installed game.

Yep, I've just had the same problem. Bought the base game and DLC (2 separate transactions - couldn't put both into the cart at the same time for some odd reason!) at the same time, installed the "2.5.011" version (which the download link describes as 1.0.74 and thus not needing the 335mb patch!) and then installed the 2.6.0.13 / 1.0.81 patch (which version is it GoG?).

I then try to install the DLC, it states what the attached jpg shows.

Very pleased with the 3 $5.99 Fair Price Package codes though :D

Edit: I didn't change the default path, and I have tried again after creating a profile within the game, and still the same result.

Raze_Larian, I tried what you suggested. I created a profile and even started and saved a new game. Still, the DLC installer cannot find the game.

By the way, I did not change the default install path. I attached a screenshot.

I have the same problem.
Same here. I installed the DLC a few days ago but I had to format my computer and I got this problem. I think is probably because of the latest patch but I'm not sure.
The DLC installer probably only works if you have the first version of the game installed. But we can't download it again because it was replaced with the second version.

It should be fixed now, please re-download the installer for the Source Hunter DLC :)
Thank you for the fixed installer. It works now.
Thanks, works as intended now.

If you have the original release of D:OS, it should be in the library, under the downloads for the game.
I cannot understand all about this game.. I am really freak out now... kindda gave up on this issue now. Anyway, I have downloaded this from pirate bay under mercs215 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Patch v1.10) (GOG) ...which says you will need patch v 1.10 ti play it. however, i cannot install the game itself, no question of playing it with that patch.. game installation comment says.. no base game found..try gog version... and it fails to go any further.
I guess you cannot directly run the set up and install the game like any other game... GOG games sucks.....
