1. Since he and his "cat" keep following me around, I guess it's safe to assume that I already have it as part of the "developers cut"?

2. I just had to re-install Win10 so have had to re-install the game. I'm thinking that the GoG cloud saves mean I can pick up where I left off but, if true, how is this done? Will it tell me the "PC and cloud do not match, which is correct?" as the way to get the save?

1. Yes. It was a free addition if the game was bought before the Definitive Edition release.

2. I have not tried Galaxy's cloud save feature, but there is at least a manual download option in the library entry for the game, under 'Backups & goodies'.

If you made a backup before the reinstall, each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\PlayerProfiles<ProfileName>\Savegames\Story' folder.

P.S. there is also a separate forum for D:OS 2.

Unfortunetely, the problem was due to a power outage as I was shutting down windows. Nothing could be saved.
