First, Saved Games in DD started listing incorrectly. They used to be completely chronological, most-recent save listed first. Then, for no evident reason, the list started getting randomly jumbled. Then, soon after, the list started not showing some of the saves, especially recent ones.
And, as usual, it crashes to desktop, over and over and over and over and over.....this "Patch" appears to be pure BS. Uninstall. Reninstall. Repeat. Still crashes. And crashes. And crashes................

I had one crash with the previous version, no crashes at all with the current one. Current character level is 20.
According to Windows I currently have 150 save games (after deleting about 20 recently) and never had a problem with any of them.
Only real problem I had was the sound glitch, fixed by using Runfirst.
Might help if you post your system specs

Ahh XP shouldn't be a problem. What about virus scanner?

Ralackk: Thank you. Good point. I do NOT religously remember to turn off Antivirus when playing.
On the other hand, on the occasions that I DO remember, the game still crashes.....
I've got AVG installed, and Windows Firewall activated.

Can you go into avg and put divine divinity onto a safe list?
Just as input, I have AVG running on my XP and Vista systems. AVG has not interfered with DD on either system . . . =)
