Running as administrator is the only way I can get this game to work. It's not a problem, really, just wondering why this is.

Vista / Win 7 will block certain actions unless they are done as an admin. This can affect sound, disk writes, video, etc etc. Running as an admin eliminates the blocking problems. . . short answer, I'm late for work . . . =)
