hello all run into a bug that makes my game crash back to windows when i try to repair an item...anyone know about this is ther a solution...

Try taking the item off and repairing it on the ground.

I had a couple random crashes with Repair, in the disk version of the game. One consistent crash, trying to batch repair a bunch of loot I had been stashing in a chest, I fixed by reloading a save from a couple minutes previous, and I didn't have any further issues with Repair (never bothered equipping / unequipping items or placing them on the ground first).

The first time I used repair, the UI at the bottom of the screen vanished and I couldn't get it back without reloading. Later repairs had no problem.

This was a big problem I had. I have now found that if I open the screen that shows what equipment I am carrying, then right click the repair skill and then click it over the item I have no problem. Make sure you don't click the "repair" skill with the mouse near the bottom of the screen.

At times clicking the bottom of the screen would return the UI, other times it would crash the screen.

If you right click the menu bar along the bottom of the screen it will minimize to 3 lines (red, blue and yellow, for health, mana and stamina); right clicking on the lines will bring back the full menu bar (I haven't heard of that causing issues before...).

The first time I did this by accident I saved, quit and restarted the game. The second time I noticed the colours of the lines and realized it wasn't a graphical glitch as I has assumed before.

You just described just what happened to me. Good to know for the future.
