I'm saddened and surprised that Divinity II is not here for the complete collection. I was playing through it back early last year and thought it was magnificent. Sadly I was about halfway through the game when I was burgled and lost all my computer stuff.

I discovered GOG later in the year and found the Divinity games Divine Divinity was like the 2nd game I bought here. (I have yet to play it very far in, it's pretty challenging at times) and i have Beyond Divinity now as well. I would love to get my hands on Divinity II.. wonder why GOG has yet to bring it here. I would like to have the whole series in one format, I'd hate to have to go outside of GOG to get the final Part.
You could just download it straight from Larian with no DRM.

And of course vote for it on the community wishlist.
That's not the final part, since the next one is in the making right now.

I've voted definitely. I know it's silly but it just seems better to have the whole collection in one place if possible. Buying a GOG version would support both GOG and the devs. Though I may break down and get that version is need be.

Though on a side note... $40 still? The games been out quite a long time now seems a bit high for a game that's been around for a couple years. Hell the actual Dragon Knight saga package has been out over a year. Ego Draconis alone was out end of 09, first of 10. Hope they consider a price drop soon.

Well for starters... AWESOME!! I didn't know.

But I mean the final part released as of right now that is. I would just think a couple year old game would be here already since the others before it are here.
Larian is in the process of, or at least the planning stage for, updating their online store, including pricing. Swen Vincke wrote a blog post about something game journalists should do (promote buying directly if a developer has that option), and mentioned that currently they just follow Steam's price (who have it at $40 but have put it on sale for 75% off, etc).
The blog, or my connection to it, is currently not responding, but the post in question is the second or third newest.
Amazon.com also lists DKS at $40 (download only available in the US), but has put it on sale for $6 a couple times.

We definetely want it on GOG.com. Though i own the game from Amazon.com i will buy again on GOG to support both Larian and GOG again. It is DRM-Free anyway why don't they put it in here?
There will be an Anthology collection of DD, BD and DKS released in October. No digital releases have been confirmed yet, but if there is going to be a separate release of DKS on GOG, then it could be done at the same time.

Steam did not carry FoV when it was released, just DKS with a discount for anyone who bought the original D2:ED. If the anthology is being released on GOG, something like that could also be a possibility.

There are possible updates for DD and BD outstanding for GOG, so it may be more convenient to release everything at once, if either DKS or the anthology are being released here. If and when the Steam / Larian Vault version of DD is patched (presumably they will want any fixes in and tested before the anthology release goes gold), Larian has stated they will release that updated version on GOG as well, as long as there are no issues doing so. Widescreen and compatibility fixes have been made for BD for the anthology release, so that should also be updated here (again, if there are no issues doing so).

You've made my day, thanks . . . =)

I haven't looked forward to a GOG game release in a long time.

This is excellent news! I just have one question.. I know that BD has an annoying bug with Windows 7 x64 systems with > 3 GB of RAM. The entire game slows down incredibly and we have to limit the system RAM to 2 GB and reboot in order to make the game run normally. Will this be fixed in the Anthology release?
The performance problems some people had in Vista/7 with more than 3072MB RAM is well known and first reported 5 years ago, so it would more than likely be fixed. Also, Larian's current test systems are much more likely to include 64 bit Windows computers with 4+ GB RAM than they were at the start of 2007.

I don't have a detailed list of compatibility fixes, but I can double check that this was addressed and comment officially next week.
@Raze_Larian

That's good to hear. Here's hoping the Anthology comes to GOG. If not, well, at least the updated versions of DD & BD as well as DKS.
