I downloaded the full game version 169 today, but the new companions are not available in game. Nor can I check the "Bear and the Burglar" DLC under Additional Content in the game's main menu.

I also tried the updater, and it looked like it was updating something, but it still doesn't work (started a new game and played all the way to the companion location - wasn't there).

Fix please?

jag090: Fix please?
The 1.0.169 patch was updated to fix this (and I assume the full install was, as well, but a 300MB download is smaller, even if the change from the original 1.0.169 patch is only 10MB).
Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately the patch is not available on mac :( I guess I'll try to download the whole thing again. Though the file name is the same as the one I downloaded earlier today, so I still have my doubts about this. Would be nice to get an official GoG statement.
I'm running a fresh install of 1.0.219, and I have the same problem. The DLC is not enabled, and the box next to it not checkable.

robertp> Just to confirm, you are on Mac and installed via the file: divinity_original_sin_2.5.0.37.dmg? If you're on Windows you may want to jump over to the current forum thread "Cannot check Divinity: Original Sing DLC (v 1.0.219)" (yes, there's a typo in the thread title).

My Mac installation via a DMG file of the same name (downloaded Nov. 18th) included "The Bear and the Burglar" DLC content. Though now it looks like they've added a separate Mac DLC patch alongside the DMG titled "The Bear and The Burglar DLC."

Devs> Was there was a re-release of the DMG (with the same file name) and a separated patch for the DLC — or, in other words, what is the purpose of the current "The Bear and The Burglar DLC" Mac patch?

AFAIK to fix an issue with the DLC not being enabled properly in some circumstances with the current full installer.

Yes, I'm using a Mac. GOG Support sent me a link to the DLC patch around the same time they put it up for everyone who bought the game. It looks like Divinity uses a method of enabling DLC inspired by Steam, but had some issues translating that to the GOG version for OS X.
