Looks like a cross between the original DivDiv and Neverwinter Nights. VERY cool! Here's hoping it turns out well!
Looks like a good one - what is the release date?
The release estimate is Q2 2013.
Yep, I've seen that, and it definitely looks promising.
Here's to hoping the Larian guys can keep up the good work they've done so far.
Been hearing comparisons between this and Ultima 7, which intrigues me. That, and something about an editor. I will definitely be keeping an eye on this one.
It seems most dungeon crawler type games are going with the cartoony/ish type graphic style. Diablo III, Torchlight I & 2, and Divinity: Original Sin. Is this art style more appealing to their target audience than say a darker Gothic, moody type atmosphere?

Not for me, but I'll forgive a lot if the game play and story looks good. And this one looks to be something I'd like to play.

If you check out the threads about on the official Larian forums, then most people seem to like the cartoon look or are indifferent (placing more emphasis on the gameplay). There are exceptions, though. I complained a good bit as I prefer more realistic designs and textures to goofy Pixar-looking enemies.

Then you might like Grim Dawn!

I'm looking forward to it quite a bit, yes. I loved Titan Quest.
I guess I should of said what bengeddes said, "realistic designs and textures". That's what I meant to say.

I also prefer the realistic settings like DD and the original Diablo.
Looks like allot of fun. as long as it does not come with that new Diablo 3 DRM, I will be buying this one!
It won't hurt to vote it on GOG :)

Divinity- Original Sin on GOG

A DRM free day 1 release on GOG is a bold and powerful statement.

Selling one million units is a great success.
The million units manual

CD Projekt RED did both with The Witcher 2.
I wish Larian Studios to do the same with Divinity - Original Sin. :)
