hi,
I have tried for hours to make a coop with a friend of mine who also owns a gog's DOS copy but we couldn't find out the problem with it. The direct connection was unsuccessful (we tried both IP and server ID) and we also tried hamachi but it didn't work (my friend has a mc so he can't use tunngle or evolve). we double-checked the multiplayer game option. any idea?

Ck019: any idea?
Was the virtual LAN working but the game wouldn't connect, or could you not get Hamachi set up?

Did you both try hosting?

Are you both shutting down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus) before starting the game? Also check your firewall settings, or for a third party program, try connecting with the firewall shut down.

Did check your router settings, etc? One person reported a problem connecting with the computer behind an unmanaged switch, but it was fine connected directly to the router.

Try reseting your network adapters:
- click Start (or Search in Win 10), type cmd into the search box, right click Command Prompt and select run as administrator.
- type the following command and hit Enter
netsh winsock reset
- when that is done, there should be a message 'Winsock reset completed successfully'
- type exit and hit Enter, then reboot your computer.

Try verifying the install files, if you are using Galaxy (in the client, select Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition in the left column, then click on the More button, and in the Manage menu select 'Verify / Repair').

i think the second, but maybe we weren't able to set up hamachi correctly. Could you tell me how to do it, and how to make it works for DOS?
