Note to all who are wondering are DD and BD patched with latest patches and extra updates.
Divine Divinity:
remastered version of Divine Divinity.
Version 1.4A is the newest version.
This version has been patched to the latest available patch, so patching the game is not necessary and not recommended.
Extra fixes and features have been added to this version since the last patch. They are:
General:
- Feature: Allow more resolutions
- Feature: Recreated config tool
- Fixed numerous crashes and freezes
- Fixed: encumbrance could make items disappear
- Feature: Tooltips of damage stats on stat screen improved
Skills:
- Fixed: Spellbooks no longer ignore level requirements
- Fixed: All weapon expertise skills give percentile bonuses instead of static bonuses
- Fixed: True Sight damage is now actually used
- Fixed: Bow and crossbow expertise bonuses are now actually used
- Fixed: Divine Eye removes the fog of war
- Fixed: Deadly Gift's Scorpion Trap is less powerful
- Fixed: Resurrected enemies die after region swap

Beyond Divinity:
This is the last English version available (1.49) so it's the same as if you'd bought the box + installed the latest 1.49 patch. No extra changes or features or fixes.

Larian Devs are working on a patch for DD released here on GOG. They have been active here in the DD forum for several weeks, posting as DeathKnight and Sektor. A patch has been promised; not a patch but a new patched download of the whole setup.exe that will fix problems with the GOG release.

where do you download the new patch at?

It has not been released yet, I would assume, once released, you would just go to your account page and re-download the setup exe.

Will this new version work with current save games?

I have not heard if current save games will work or not, most of us have stopped playing DD until the patch is released, it's a great game but the bugs are taking a lot of the joy out of it. I am playing Sacred Gold till the patch comes out.
Maybe someone else has more info or DeathKnight might let us know something soon.

There have been several discussion about SG here is one. Search the SG forums for other discussions.
I like DD for its unique atmosphere and story, like SG for the huge world, game play and interesting characters.

hey stuff is like co op play help ppl out in it do quest togather on SG . there like good games coming out cant what for tham love old ones and new ones.. new ones like Divinity II: Ego Draconis and Final Fantasy XIII than play Dragon Age Origins is good what do you play stuff

SG is multiplayer. RPG and FPS's are my favorites but play all genres.

Patch will work with "old" savegames (GOG version). We have contacted GOG concerning the patch, so it shouldn't take too long before it's here. I would expect a bit of QA time though.
