Alot of the guides I see (gamefaqs and larian) seem to be outdated according to this guy. He states that since v1.4 (equivalent to v1.004+ per GoG versions?) the scorpion trap has been brought down to normal levels and the warrior weapon skills are now rebalanced to be % damage based rather than a mixture of % and + damage. I dont remember what the scorpion trap used to be like but 3 of them barely scratch a boss on hard at rank 1 in catacombs, the warrior skills however still state +damage bonuses.

Should I listen to this guy or does somebody have any other recent guides as its really confusin trying to work out which skills are still bugged (both over and underpowered) .
The scorpions used to level from 100-500. Meaning they could kill anything, and quick. Now they level from 10-50.

Stabbey's guide is in accordance with Larian's latest patch notes about the percentage bonuses for the weapon masteries - and I think his guide is pretty good. However, the in-game descriptions still state static increases in damage for mace, axe, and hammers, so this needs to be tested.

I don't think any skills are actually bugged or broken anymore. Regardless of whether it's percentage or static bonus, I would still take sword mastery for swords, mace mastery for maces, etc.
