Hey guys - any way to make the shopkeepers in the game get new inventory and/or more gold? I noticed every once inawhile when I visit the George in town he has stuff different from what he offered from before, but I don't know what triggers this. Does it simply require a reload of your save file?

I believe the inventory is restocked every 24 hrs of game time so . . . every game day that passes triggers the restock.

IIRC, leaving an area and entering another than returning will cause the restock as well as transporting out of an area and back into it will trigger a restock. It's been a while so . . . =)

Since you are still in Aleroth you don't have too many ways to trigger the event. Going down into the catacombs and returning to the surface should trigger it as well.

The only way to get more gold other than earn it is to use the infamous dupe cheat, I'll look the other way . . . =)
