I am the stage of forming the Council of Severn and I can't find Eolus Thunderstorm any where in the Dwarven Village. So I can't finish the main quest nor the Dragon Armor quest.

Also, Diana who gives the find her cat quest is missing by the Merchants quild.

So with Eolus missing I am stuck. Help needed on this one.

You will find him in one of the houses in the village. Sorry, but I can't remember exactly which one. However, have you resolved the conflict between the Dwarves and the Elves? If my memory serves me right you need to do this and recover the missing axe first.

As for the girl who gives you the missing cat quest, I think she does move from her original spot where you first meet. Try searching the park around the teleport pad and also the nearby roads. She will be there somewhere.

When you go to ask him to join the Council of Seven, he's standing in front of the outcrop of stone where the axe was displayed.

When you've completed the quest to return the axe, he's in his house directly across from it.

He can sometimes hide from sight until you get close. Check your mini-map and walk around the house (just south of the axe monument) close to the walls (inside first, and outside if he isn't there). One person reported finding him over beside the town crier.

That's strange. What quests have you done? You won't see Eolus Thunderstorm until the axe has been stolen. At least, I never did.

I agree - that the axe is still there does seem strange.

I always thought the visit to Stormfist Castle was the trigger for the conflict between the Elves and Dwarves, but if you're already looking for the Council of Seven, that suggests you've visited Janus already.

I tried all the suggestions made by people - no luck.

Here is the situation:

1. I have done 2 of the council member quests: the orc and the elve. I did the latter hoping it would start the Elous quest. No luck. I have searched the Dwarven Village again and again. I have look at every blue dot in the min map. No Eolus.

2. Also I can not find Diana any where. I looked at the place people suggested.


I am being to think I have broken game.

You need to complete 5 of the other council member quests before you can successfully scry for the dwarven council member.

If you join the merchant's guild first you can not get the quest from Diana. Don't recall if you can talk to her after releasing the cat.

Raze is right. Finish the other quests in the council chamber then use the scrying ball to find Eolus.

I can't recall if you get any points added to your rep for rescuing the cat but the only reason to talk to Diana afterward is to learn what she'll tell you as a reward and you can stumble across what she knows anyway (hidden gold) if you look around in the area near the western wall.

It sounds as if the Dwavern Axe disappears after you've completed 5 of the council member quests, hence it still being present in DocDave's game.

The most important thing to note here is that you can't even scry for the Dwarven council member until you've completed the other council member quests. So there's no way you should even know about Eolus Thunderstorm and the axe yet unless you consulted a walkthrough and got ahead of the quest. Just follow the pace the game lays out for you.

The funny thing is I could scry Eolus before completing the other council members.

Yes, but it should just show him, not where he is. It is only after you have enough other council members recruited that he will be in the dwarven village, and scrying will show that location.
