With the Enhanced Edition: Can pc players play with console players? I think I heard while watching the videos that the studio put out for the game that they said that pc can play with console.

Short answer: no, they can't.
Anyway Windows 10 users can cross-platform play with Xbox One players, as far as I know.

No.

In the same thread you linked, the developer clearly states that Computer-Console multiplayer is not supported in any way.

The only "cross-platform" multiplayer supported is between Windows/Mac/Linux systems.
