Hello everybody,
I am going to buy a new computer and, as they are sold with windows 8, I wanted to know if it is possible to move my old D:OS save (windows 7) to my (future) new computer.
Thank you for answering

Yes. Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames' folder. In Windows Explorer click on Documents in the left column under Libraries, then double click on the Larian Studios folder in the right column, and you can zip or copy the DOS folder (or just the savegames folder) to a USB drive or across a network, etc.

BTW, if you have a lot of saves, the .7z archive format in 7-Zip can achieve much better compression than the zip format (and as far as zip goes, 7-Zip does a better job with that than many other programs, or Windows built-in zip function).
Ok, thank you. But I was more concerned about the compatibility between 7 & 8, and I heard that Windows 8 was not really good for playing. Do you have an idea on the subject ?

Saves are compatible between Win 7 and 8... and OSX.

I think Win 8 has mostly ironed out the major issues it had with gaming. There is no reason to expect problems, anyway.
Thank you a lot, now I'm not afraid anymore to change my computer!
Windows 10 will apparently be a free upgrade for most Win 7 and 8 systems, as well. Supposedly it fixes a lot of the issues with Win 8 and combines the strengths of 7 and 8, but I have not been following development, and don't know if that was mostly marketing (or recall where I read that, actually). MS does tend to make the next OS better after one is poorly received, though (95 to 98, ME to XP).
