For the past couple of months I was playing Divinity Original Sin with a friend using Galaxy and it was working relatively fine. Of course there was plenty of "multiplayer bugs" (Desynchronization between the health bars, wrong order in the action bar, character missing equipment after a game load, etc...) but it was playable without lag and it connected without issues, etc...
But starting Friday of last week it no longer works:
I see him in Galaxy, in the game in the "send invitation" screen I also see him, when I send him the invitation he receive it, it launch the game when it accept it; but then he end up with a "joining failed".
- We didn't change anything in our computer or Windows (we both have Windows 10 creators update, up to date, no new program installed, etc...)
- We tried to do a verify / repair of the game
- We even tried to disable our firewall / anti-virus
But It doesn't change anything; the strange thing is that, if I set my game to public he is unable to see it in the multi-player join screen.
Personally I only see three possible things :
- Our ISP updated our router and it broke something (Possible but it doesn't seem to impact other games)
- It's a side-effect of a Windows security update (Unlikely it at worse it should have reseted the firewall rules)
- One of the numerous recent Galaxy update broke multiplayer with D:OS
Has anybody been able recently to play multiplayer via Galaxy since last Friday ?
Anybody has any idea of anything I can try to try to correct this issue ?
At least does anybody know the ports used by Galaxy/D:OS so that I can check that there is no other program/services using them ?
I run out of idea apart from using a VPN and try to play via LAN :( .
