There's a thread on this forum dating back to October/November and it mentions that the digital versions of DD and BD have bugs that were patched in the retail (disc) version, but the digital versions are remastered with support for higher resolutions and Win7/Vista support. Is there currently a version of DD and BD with the best of both worlds? The CD patch as well as the remastered versions? If so, where can I get it from? Thanks.

Also, is there anything in the Divinity Anthology from LarianVault that is NOT included if I were to buy DD, BD and Divinity 2 Director's Cut from GOG? If so, is this extra something included in both the digital and box versions of the Anthology? Finally, does the Anthology come with Steam keys? I read in another thread that was in the works, has it happened?

Thanks!
There was some lost code for bugfixes in DD that were not necessarily fixed again when the widescreen support was redone. There has not been another patch for DD, so there is no 'best of both worlds' version.

BD had no such problems, and the digital version is the updated disk version with widescreen support and Vista/7 compatibility fixes added.

Some of the extras are different with D2:DC from GOG or the Larian Vault. GOG has the D2:ED and FoV soundtracks, while the digital version of the anthology from the Larian Vault has the audio CDs from the retail version.

Only the retail version of the anthology contains the DLC items for DC and D:OS and the Steam codes. There is a similar DC DLC item you can sign up for, though, from a Chinese New Year promo offer for Dragon Commander DLC early this year. The webpage is still up, so you can try submitting your email address to get in on the deal (as long as you don't mind silver instead of gold). I have not gotten any announcements from signing up (despite leaving the option checked to get updates), so you don't have to worry about getting on any mailing lists, etc.

Larian did say something about trying to get Steam keys added for games bought through the Vault, but that has not been confirmed / implemented yet.

I'd like to get on a mailing list. I don't use Steam.
Next year I'll check if there are any plans to add a mailing list or email newsletter (I assume so, but am not sure when).
Are mailing lists expensive to maintain?
No, not as far as I know. I think it is just a question of getting the DC / D:OS websites updated and then maintained regularly. Right now Facebook gets updated frequently and there is info, etc, posted in the Larian forum and Swen Vincke's blog, but everything isn't being compiled in one place. Once that gets going, maintaining a mailing list isn't much additional work.
