I already own Divinity II Developer's Cut on Steam. (IIRC, when it came out, Steam & the devs gave you a free upgrade if you already owned Ego Draconis and Flames of Vengeance.)

Anyway, what I'm wondering is, how many goodies, extras, etc, if any, are GOG exclusive?

If I own it on Steam, is there any reason to also pick up the GOG version?

Or shall I just put that ten bucks right into System Shock 2?

(Actually, I'm buying SS2 either way. It's just whether I pick up DD2 with it!)

Thanks!
I have the GOG and Steam versions of D2:DC, but have not gone through the extras in any detail for GOG, or at all for Steam.

For GOG, the avatars / wallpapers / renders could be exclusive, but you could probably find similar elsewhere if you were so inclined; same with the map (though the GOG world map is a higher quality/resolution than I've seen elsewhere). The soundtrack for D2:ED can be downloaded from the composer's site (Kirill Pokrovsky). I don't know if the documentary contains anything not in the version on YouTube (presumable it is a higher quality, I haven't downloaded it yet). The DD and BD novellas are available as GOG extras for those games, and elsewhere (like the D2:ED fansite kit). I think the developer's journal is included with the Steam version. The tech demo for LMK is a GOG exclusive, but is also included in the extras for DD and BD.

If you want extras, you should order the retail version of the Divinity Anthology. Amazon.com sold out of their stock, but have a listing from a UK seller, or you can order directly from the Larian Vault.

I ordered quite a number of games through PlayAsia but never thought about looking for it there, LOL. Thanks for the headsup.

Aw yeah thanks Lou. Didn't think that Play-Asia would stock it.

You may want to check eBay. I saw a few copies there, and the cheapest is $31. Shipping is cheap too. The only thing I'd be wary about is that the package may be crushed en route to your address.
