Did you install the disk version patch on the download version of the game, or is the disk version executable included in the Itailian translation mod (
DD in Italian), or something? The retail version requires the play CD to be in a drive to play the cutscenes after the Blessing Ceremony (gong) and at the end of the game.
There is no way to uninstall just the patch, but you can uninstall the game and then reinstall it. If you manually replaced files you should be able to undo it manually, as well, if you backed up the originals.
Alternately, you may be able to install the game again in a different folder, copy the saved game folder before hitting the gong to the new install location, play that version long enough to get to the wastelands, save and then copy the save folder back to the original install. There is no problem having multiple version of the game in different folders, but there could be compatibility issues transferring saves (disk version saves can crash trying to load in the download version of the game, or load ok but with saving then disabled); I don't know if there are any issues with the Italian translation.
Another solution that would avoid uninstalling or reinstalling anything would be to just create a disk 3, either by burning an actual CD/DVD-R/RW or using a virtual CD program. The CD version of the game looks for a disk labeled LARIAN_DIV3 with a path [drive]:\disc3\static containing the *.bik files when it gets to the 2 cutscenes it needs the Play CD for. You can get the bik files from the download version install folder '..\Divine Divinity\static'.
