Hello,

i need help, please. My character will not talk to Thelyron. I don´t found the correct hex code. Who know the correct code? I try this "data.000 ID for Thelyron is Thelyron23, edit the second instance
Thelyron23Thelyron!¨} hexedit.com". Then crashed the game.

You can either reload an older savegame (at least 15 minutes back in time) and see if the bug is gone or zip your data.000 file and send it to Raze_Larian asking him to correct it.

In a hex editor, if you search for the term AgentsV, that will get you to the start of the character section, and then you should be able to search for the name and find it immediately, without going through possibly multiple instances of the name until you get to the correct one (Help, the imps hate me!!).

Alternately (though I already replied to your email), Jem in the Steam discussion Imp Council Member created a program to modify the character name(s). (also mentioned in the topic dr.schliemann linked to)

I found a program on steam that fixes this exact problem for me, using the readme and the cmd line, I got it to fix my save file and mark Thelyron as friendly. I'm mainly replying for lost people searching for an answer, since this thread is 4 years old!
