I've been playing the heck out of Divinity: Original Sin for the last couple days and it's great. But i've been getting random crashes on exit, they don't seem to hurt anything just rather annoying. The length of the play session seems to increase the chances of it happening. It happens on two different computers as well, with wildly different hardware specs. I put the crash dump created by the game on my dropbox as well the dxdiag from my main rig if any Larian support check here and want to take a look.

Thanks!

Are you shutting down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus) before starting the game? Firewalls have also caused conflicts.

Are you playing the same set of saves on both computers? Does this happen frequently enough you could try starting a new game, save and exit a few times? (maybe leaving it running while you have supper, or something, if that is long enough to have a reasonable chance of crashing)

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem (or link to this topic) and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool, for both computers (assuming your other one is also using Windows). The report will contain system and game information, as well as your saved games. To reduce the file size, all but one save can be deleted from the zip file (and if you are using the same saves on both computers, only one report would need a save).

A couple ChrashDump files from each computer may also help (you could add them to the report.zip).

I do play the same set of saves on both computers. And all background stuff is closed except I don't shut off Microsoft Security Essentials. Both computers are Windows 7 64-bit with different hardware specs but have a lot of the same background processes and software installed. On my low end laptop it seems to crash more often.

I noticed if I quit to menu instead, then exit. It always exits just fine with no problems, unless i've just been lucky with that.

When I get a moment i'll get the reports from both computers and send them in. Thanks for the help.
