Hello everyone,

my brother and I are playing Divinity: Original Sin multiplayer via direct conncetion, I'm the host. After every loading screen (aka environment change) his avatar doesn't move anymore on my screen. He can move it on his pc and interact with e.g. crates, but mine doesn't recognize these actions. So, for the game his avatar still stands at the portal or the beginning of the dungeon etc. To solve this problem he has to relog, what is a little bit annoying :-).

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks!
Homunkulius

Are one of you using the original Galaxy update? The version number and difficulty were displayed above the mini-map in that release, something used in QA versions but should be disabled in release, and had this issue playing with different versions (commonly Steam, but the non-Galaxy GOG version, as well).

In the Galaxy client, select Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition in the left column, click the More button and select Configure. If the updates are set to manual rather than automatic, select either 2.0.119.430 for the version before the Galaxy update, or 2.0.119.430(GALAXY FIX) or 2.0.119.430(LANG HOTFIX) for the version after the fix.
If you aren't using Galaxy, you can download the Czech language hotfix from your library.

The original Galaxy update was almost 2 weeks ago, on a Friday, and the fix the following Tuesday, so this is probably the issue if one of you installed/updated then, and haven't updated since.
You were exactly right, I use the Galaxy version, my brother doesn't. After starting Galaxy the game updated automatically and now it works fine.

Thanks a lot from both of us!
