It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

First time buying a game off here and so I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong, but the download of the set up exe does not run, it says the exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Tried running as admin, changing compatibility, none which seem to prevail. Any advice this?

I did download it through the GOG downloader if that helps.

Sounds like you tried all the standard fixes so my guess is you have a corrupted download. I would redownload it using your browser (above the GOG downloader option). I have never tried the down loader but it is known to have some problems. I have downloaded around 175 games from GOG using Firefox without a single failure.

I usually start the downloads on GB files at night and find them completed in the morning. . . . hope you get it running as it's a fun game . . . =)
Alright, guess there is no way around it.

Thanks anyway.

You're welcome, if the new download works please post back as I'm not sure my answer was the solution as much as an opinion about the problem . . . =)
Unfortunately I am having trouble downloading it via the browser as well, since I live way out in the country side, my connection sometimes goes off and usually I reconnect for it to resume but it doesn't for some odd reason and cancels itself when downloading from this site.

I imagine this is what happened on the gog downloader so I guess I'm pretty much stuck.

Post something in the General Discussion forum like "Help with resuming a download" There are one or two third party programs that will allow you to resume a download if you copy the download link IIRC.

I have had such good luck with my downloads using the browser that I never got up to speed on the resuming process. I feel sure you will get help from others in the UK as well. Hope you can get the problem solved as there are lots of games here that need playing . . . =)
Will do, thanks.
