I made my character in Divine Divinity, played a bit (just explored the house you start in). Logged off, and it was like the game resized my desktop...but didn't. I set the game to use 1920x1080, and it works in game. No slow downs or anything, game works fine.

But, all my bottom left corner icons on the desktop were unusable. I could interact with everything in the middle, top left and bottom right. However, if I held left button and made a selection box...the icons became selected. But, I couldn't interact with them or unselect affected icons. I did find a workaround, that I reset my desktop to 1600 by 900, and switched back to 1920x1080...and that fixed it.

My OS is Windows 7 64bit, with a...well...1920x1080 monitor. My graphics card is a Geforce GTX260.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Does that happen every time you exit the game, or was it a one time glitch? I have not seen this issue reported before.
Windows and DirectX can switch the resolution, even if the game and desktop resolutions are the same.

If this is consistent, you could try changing the game resolution and see if that makes a difference.

Maybe try right clicking the shortcut (or executable) for the game, select Properties and in the Compatibility tab disable desktop composition, etc.
Not sure what it was, if it was a one time thing or what.

I set it to software instead of direct 3d. And I set it to disable desktop composition.

Quit out twice to see, and no problem. Though, I switched back to direct 3d and it didn't do it either. I then turned off desktop composition, and it was still fine.

Could have just been a windows glitch or something. Though, after it did that...I did update my graphics drivers, but I don't think it was cause of that. Mine were already pretty recent. So probably windows glitched out for some reason.
