So I put a few points in the monster id skill, but the listed resistances, whatever they mean, don't seem to correspond to anything.

See sampe screenshot.

This Tibar is resisting shadow bow damage like crazy - damage shows up as "Shadow 49 (AR - 50)". Crushing damage from the crossbow is resisted as well, but RCr only is -5!

And yet nothing in the monster id info seems to correspond with huge Shadow resistance. Or is there something else blocking the damage? Some kind of "anti-ranged armor"?

Also, In the Id, is "higher = resistant" or the other way around?


EDIT: And as long as I'm asking questions, can monster attacks interrupt your attacks? It seems almost as if the Death Knight becomes stun-locked somehow - keeps trying to swing a two-handed sword and failing. This is happening a lot when fighting multiple spiders in Act 2.


EDIT 2: And another question just came up - what good is the demonic summoning doll besides as a mule? Not a single weapon slot, and there appears to be no unarmed combat skills. Starting intelligence is only 7 (for a level 8 creature), so it can't be intended to be used as a mage. So what gives?
