Yesterday i was looking if there are some maps for Beyond Divinity (to know where what/who is), but i didn`t find it anymore. I know that there was a site with all maps, but it seems to be all down or not existing anymore. So i wanted to ask if there still someone have the maps or knows a site who has the maps still online or so.

Thanks in advance.
The Beyond Divinity Strategy Guide contains maps, as does the GameBanshee walkthrough. A couple other links I have are no longer valid.
Thank you very much. Now i can play it again and maybe i can reach now chapter 4. But i think i`ll try the GOG version now. Dunno, but i think there was some problems with the item slots with my older retail versions.

Yes, with the disk version of the game items could start to become corrupt in Vista/7, though playing in Win98 compatibility mode would prevent that.

The recent update for the anthology release added support for higher and widescreen resolutions, as well as Win 7 compatibility fixes and some performance optimizations.
Good to know, thanks.

And you can't relise a special patch for the guys that don't wanna rebuy the game? or in my case buy it from gog

No, I don't think there is going to be another patch for the original disk version of the game. Publishers in some regions didn't even release the final (1.47) disk patch at the time, to remove the DRM and allow the game to be installed in Vista (changes to how Windows handled drivers meant BD would prompt for a reboot each time the game was started). I don't think there is very much demand for an update, while it would require a good deal of effort for QA of all the different localizations, testing with each of the release/patch versions, etc. Presumably most people who are interested enough in BD that higher resolution support would matter have either gotten the new release separately, or as part of the Divinity Anthology (blog post Hatching the Anthology).

If GOG is the issue, rather than re-buying the game, you can also buy BD directly from the Larian Vault, or Steam (not sure if any other digital distributors have updated to the most recent release).
