A new file 1.0.107 hotfix is available for download for the Windows version. What is it? I have successfully upgraded to 1.0.107 during the week-end. Do I need to run this new hotfix as well? What does it fix?

Thanks.

Wondering the same thing myself. Would be nice if some sort of patch-notes were attached to patches :P

Great... And exactly this hotfix won't install...

"This patch does not support your version of the game
please download a new installer"

@GOG
Are there any plans for a new hotfix that'll work with the (fully patched!) version of the game that was installed with your "old" (pre 1.0.74) installer? Or do I really have to download a new installer?

It installed fine for me.

My game is installed with the full version: setup_divinity_original_sin_2.5.0.11

Patched with: patch_divinity_original_sin_2.7.0.14

And then hotfixed with: patch_divinity_original_sin_2.8.0.15

And there in lies our problems.

My original installer I downloaded from GOG just one month ago is 2.3.0.6 which came in at 8Gig.

And now GOG expects me to re-download the whole 8Gig game again just to install their new updated GOG installer?!

Well sorry for my language but that is total BS!

I'm not alone with this error. As far as I understood, it affects all users who don't play the game in English and have pre v1.0.74 installers (game version, not installer version). Don't know which game version the 2.5.0.11 setup.exe is (should be 1.0.74, but giving the installers confusing names doesn't really help), but I have the old 2.3.0.6 installer, patched with:
2.4.0.10
2.5.0.11
2.6.0.13

Then the 2.7.0.14 patch came, patching my game to version 1.0.107, but ending with an error because of an "incorrect version" of the LanguageSetup.exe - and now the 2.8.0.1 patch (1.0.107 hotfix), doesn't install at all and tells me to download a newer version of the installer.

Looking at the bold numbers (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), I shouldn't have missed any patch. Normally, I would completely skip future patches and just go on playing, but the last patch introduced this stupid game breaker, so I HAVE to reinstall anyway (or wait for a hotfix that works with a fully patched "old installer")...
Ok so (If I'm allowed to do so).

I have taken the liberty to reconstruct the patch into a 7zip archive. For those who wish to make a manual update here's a link from my personal ftp site: ftp://77.71.197.3/patch_1.0.107_hotfix_rebuild.7z

If the ftp link is down please try this one from my google drive account: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxqMt9oGocdEdmcwUFREVHhvV3c/edit?usp=sharing

I checked where the files went and put them in the correct directories, also checked the MD5 hash of each file with the ones in my game to make sure they're in the right folder.

Simply extract the archive and move the "Data" folder in your Divinity - OS folder and overwrite the 4 xml files.

MD5 Hash: 16AB1954D7AE41593F244665E25E18C2 - patch_1.0.107_hotfix_rebuild.7z

Hopefully this temporary solves the problem until GOG releases an official one :-)

EDIT: I'll add this to avoid any confusion: Please use this only if you have applied the *main* 1.0.107 patch already.

well the 2.5.0.11 is exactly the 1.074 installer :) , that's normal you didn't get any issue.

it's unfortunate gog don't give official answer, customers must deal with the support. (Judas is no help there, he doesn't work for the QA team)

and thanks for the others for taking the time to having posted on a ftp an archive of the new files :) , that should be gog's job..... >.<

Not 100% correct real.geizterfahr.
You appear to have missed the 2.3.0.7 patch
and also this issue affects players in English as well.

I have contacted GOG and received a reply which I posted here
