Normally I play the game using a PlayStation 4 controller with Input Mapper or use an XBox One or 360 controller, Divinity Original Sin 2 ignores the controller vibration setting in the game. Whether at 0 (which should be off) or 100 or any point in between, the game ignores the setting and continues to vibrate at a fixed rate whenever an action happens on screen.

I can at least turn off vibration in Input Mapper, but that doesn't help when I'm using the XBox One or 360 controllers. It wouldn't necessarily be an issue except I turn off vibration on all my games (or at the OS level when on the console) due to wrist issues. Any ideas? I have tried the .dlls that disable vibration, but I had no results in getting it to work. However, I still need to test it more.

This is happening on both my computers - one running Windows 10 and one running Windows 7. Both exceed the requirements for the game. Both computers are currently at D:OS2 v.3.0.159.021 Hotfix (07 December 2017), which is the latest version available on GOG. Thanks for any suggestions. :)

Edit: Also opened a support ticket with Larian, just in case. I did see several threads on Steam discussing the issue, though not any solutions from what I saw. Didn't see much of anything on Larian's forum or here on the subject.

Same problem, here.

I have half a mind to open up the controller and just remove the rotors.
