Happy New Year everybody! Let's hope '21 will be a much better year! I hope you and your family/friends are all healthy and safe!

I am a noob to the game. It was always daunting to start because I thought the learning curve would be immense (I had a lot of trouble starting with Total War: Warhammer for the same reasons, but now I love that game :D). Also, the options can feel overwhelming! That's why I was hoping somebody could help me out with my party composition.

I would like to have characters as varied as possible, so I can enjoy all the different storylines in my first playthrough. That's why I wouldn't like custom ones, unless somebody advises me differently.

I already know which main char I'd like, which is a Necromancer/Blood Mage build (as Sebille). Secondly, I was thinking a Death Knight (as Fane) would grant me a nice synergy with Sebille (I think?). I'm not sure who to add, though. Would a fire mage be a could idea? Or a tectonic sage?

I mostly looked into the builds of Fextralife but I read that Sin Tee is superior. I thought the latter mainly made characters for lone wolfs, so that's why I haven't thoroughly looked into his guides.
