I can't put the Phase Capacitator on the exact position. Right click on it I only get "drop" as an option, can't throw. Ant help woud be greatly appreciated.

It's been a long time since I've played, but do you have enough strength to throw? Maybe try with a different character.
You may also be able to drop it first and then use someone with teleport (spell or scroll) to move it to the right spot.
