I'm having installation problems with this mod which I dowmloaded from Nexus (v4.0). I have the GOG version of the game and I've pointed the mod setup.exe to a temporary folder outside the game directory with the intention of copying the mod content into the game dir from there.
My temp folder now has 3 folders in it: Game, Mods and Shared, as well as 2 uninstall files which we'll ignore.
Firstly, the content of Mods\Character_Creation_Pack\Assets\Textures\Characters seems to be identical to Shared\Assets\Textures\Characters.
Is this correct? Do I actually need both? I'd kind of like to save the 5.5GB worth of space.
If I put all 3 folders into Divinity - Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data, I don't get the Omega Pack splash screen.
If I make a Public folder (Divinity - Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data\Public) and put my 3 folders in there, I do get the Omega Pack splash screen.
So now I'm confused. I previously thought only the Steam Workshop version of the mod for the Steam version of the game needed it in the public folder.
And regardless of which way round I do it and whether I get the splash screen or not, I honestly can't see a difference in-game.
How can I reliably determine whether or not the entire mod is actually working?
Should I already be noticing an obvious difference during character creation? If not there, where then?
Thanks for any help!
