I'm not sure if this is a problem with this game specifically (I don't buy many games digitally) or a proplem with GOG but I bought Divinity 2 Definitive Edition and when I click on the install button from my Library (and it does say "Ready to install") a mostly blank sub-window opens up and never finishes loading and naturally keeps me from actually getting the game. The only thing that shows on the sub-window is the loading sign a cancel button at the bottom and an unusable continue button at the bottom... Forever.
I even tried downloading and installing it from the website but the file it gave me opens up the GOG client and gives me the same exact issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cuz I have NO idea what the deal is here.
