Hi,
anyone have camera stutter when rotating/panning? Not only does it stutter, but its also highly irregular. That you cannot even call it stutter ,but instead call it nervous. Its aggravating and annoying. Its like having a ballmice with nasty dirt in it.

I have reasons to believe this is due data fetching ,streaming and similar. But im not sure.

Ma specs win7 64, phenomII ,Radeon HD6870 with 1Gig, 16 Gig RAM. Playing off a SSD. All within required specs

Are you using any mods?

I only ask because many come with unwanted effects right now. I'm thinking there are many brand new modders with this editor, as opposed to a game like Skyrim that is full of veteran modders.


For example:

I used 3 small mods - free pet pal talent at start, +25% movement speed, and sneak in battle costs 2ap instead of 4.

Now, one of those - not sure which - gave Fane his Mask of the Shapeshifter right there when I recruited him at the very start.


So, long story short, are you using any mods?

I am thinking about switching to using a controller. It seems to play much smoother when using one. I dont know what is up with this game + my Steelseries Rival mouse.

I have no mods. And my mouse is a Razer deathadder. And im certain that the issue is not with any gamermouse at all. A controller is able to move a pointer much less erratic, so it may very well conceal the stutter. But a controller is a joke.

And ive seen the other thread on larian forum. It is now clear that its a streaming issue well known from the early access phase. Not yet solved.

Ive tried the solution posted on one forum, which disables texture streaming via config files. It removes stutter. But texture quality is horrible.
