Hey, everyone!
So, I've looked everywhere to try and find a solution to this and have so far come up empty. I even posted this on Steam's forums (where I purchased the game) so I'm trying on here just to see if I can find any information.
I started up Distraint 2 and watched the intro sequence that recaps the events of the first game. After this, Price appears to wake up in a park. He starts speaking but there are no subtitles for what he is saying nor for the character that enters the scene on the right.
I hit Escape to see if something is up with my settings and the entire pause menu is devoid of any text: only the option sliders are present.
As a result, the game is completely unplayable because I can't see what anyone is saying. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a fix for it?
I've tried:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling
- Verifying the integrity of the game cache
- Running in Compatibility Mode for Windows 7 (I'm on Windows 10)
Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
