Played Distraint for the first time a couple of days ago for a few hours with no issues. Then played through the 3rd chapter with no issues today. Decided to restart during The Office chapter because I missed some detail.
After restarting the App, it auto-closed, and McAfee Antivirus popped up that it had identified a virus in Distraint.exe and removed it for me. Running Verify/Repair install and then launching the game again had the same issue - I get my game loaded and then McAfee shut it down and deleted it again.
The reported virus name is:
Real Protect-EC!B13D2D68119D
A search on the Steam forums showed at least one other user having the same issue but with a slightly different virus ID. Sounds like it is most likely a false positive from McAfee.
Running a direct scan on Distraint.exe does not report the issue - it only occurs while its running, so maybe it has to do with syncing to GOG?
