Some of the dialogue is getting cropped off the screen.

In fact, there seems to be some kind of alignment problem. In the Options menu, and in some dialogue, words are overlapping each other.

I tried running the game in different resolutions, and in both Fullscreen and Windowed mode, but the problem remains.

I contacted the developer, and his replies led me to the solution. It had to do with my Windows text scaling settings.

The computer I'm using Distraint 2 for is a Windows 7 PC. I normally use its scaling feature to enlarge text. In Control Panel > Display, you can pick different percentages, or click "Set custom text size (DPI)" to do it there. When I lowered the percentage back down to 100%, the game's text functioned properly.

This is because Distraint 2 uses system fonts, as the developer informed me.

Windows 10 has its own text scaling feature, and maybe Windows 10 users will find it helpful to adjust that, if they run into this problem in Distraint 2.

(Gog can feel free to mark this issue as Solved, with this post containing the solution to my problem.)

So the only way to avoid the overlapping text is to change the scaling feature for the entirety of Windows?
