Just started this game first time after the final cut version came out and realised that they had changed CUNOs voice. It doesn't sound as mad and drug driven as in the original version (or am I totally wrong?). Is there any way to change this back to the original version? The new one sounds like a misconducting teen from a middle class neighborhood middle school, not like CUNO.
Any ideas?

It's theoretically possible to go about extracting the voice assets of the old and integrating them into the assets of the new version. It'll take some time and likely requires Unity knowledge (or programming skill and willing to invest in figuring this out).

However, I don't think Cuno was originally fully voiced, so there'd definitely be some gaps in terms of speech (or you'd have to keep some of the new Cuno for the missing stuff).

I'd like to know why they didn't get the old Cuno back to do the missing lines though. The explanation given - that the old Cuno would be "too grating if we have to listen to him fully voiced" is bullshit, as there are number of people (myself included) that wouldn't have a problem with it, and would prefer the old Cuno for sure.
And since I don't have those programming skills it's likely I will never again hear CUNOs screaming bastards voce again. Strange designers decision to change the voice of one of the main characters completely in the final version.
Well, thanks anyway for your answer.

Bummer they chose to do this. :( I liked Cuno's ragged drug fueled paranoia. New Cuno doesn't sound like he's just done an 8 ball in the back room anymore.
I myself found the old Cuno annoying, but also I haven't replayed the new version of the game. I am more bummed about changes of some other character voices that I liked.
Got to get back to it. I remember unlocking the c*** carousel segment on my first playthrough.

Had me laughing hysterically in the middle of the night while everyone else in my house was sleeping.
