Hello,

I just started the game, and I have just a ton of questions about how everything works (experience, thoughts, etc.) And although so far I am just trying stuff out, sometimes I wish I knew what all the character options really did.

So I qish I could read a game manual that explained to me the basics of how this world function.

Yet I do not find a game manual for download from GOG.

Is there such a thing? Where can one read about the game world?

I don't think there is one. Your best bet is probably the wiki or online guides, but I'd recommend you just keep playing - there's in-game explanations for a lot of things (like each skill, and what playstyles each skill suits), and it's pretty easy to pick up after a short while.
