Disco Elysium: Final Cut is coming to Steam, and according to the notice, GOG as well, but I haven't heard anything about it here. There was a notice on Steam about it, but nothing here and I want to make sure that DE:FC is actually going to be a free upgrade (like the notice on Steam says) here on GOG, because if it won't be, I need to pick up Disco Elysium on Steam before the holiday sale is over.

Yep, is coming to GOG too, they twit about it.

It's hard to find any reliable data on what time GOG does releases (in the way that Steam basically always drops games as the same time) and the best information I can find suggests they ususally do 00:00 GMT, which would be 20:00 EST (relevant for me) with current DST settings. This means it's possible we could get the game in under 4hrs at time of posting, but it's hard to say.

I saw a tweet from Studio ZAUM saying it's going to be released 10am PST. That's 6pm BST for me.

That should cause it to coincide with the Steam release as that's the standard release time for products on Steam. With current daylight savings that's 1300 EST, or just a couple minutes more than 6hrs from now at time of posting.

If it does drop at 1800 BST, then that's < 3.5 hours away now...

Note that IF this is the case, it'll be extremely likely that as far as GOG is concerned, it will be timely only on Galaxy. At least that's the way it's been for a while now: Galaxy gets released shortly after Steam (sometimes, depending on game) - but "offline" installers take longer (at least a day, sometimes several).
