The Final Cut downloaded from GOG Galaxy crashes on startup.
disco_elysium_enUS_8487d973_44848 Offline Version (not final cut) works fine.

The game is not installed on primary HD, and not in Applications folder. I have separate folder for Games/Disco Elysium on a additional volume. could this be a culprit?

Anyone?

Same thing happens to me on macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. Playing on a 2019 16" MBP (2.6Ghz i7, 32GB, 5500M 8GB), with my GOG folder on an external drive -- no problems playing before the Final Cut update. Once I click Play, I get the horse statue screen with a "loading" indicator in the lower right. I get a beach ball of doom, and then the screen slides to the left and I'm back on the Desktop. Not sure if it means anything, but I think there's a red flash on the screen for a second as the loading screen slides off. Fun :/ .
Uninstalled and downloaded Final Cut again today from Gog Galaxy, and it's working.
The download is more than 18GB and takes up a 20,41GB when installed.

It looks like an update got pushed through recently; I checked for updates out of curiosity this morning and ended up downloading 14GB of data. Problem solved, the game works like a charm again.
I've been struggling with this for 2 days, uninstalling / repairing didn't work at all.

Finally (1) installed the game outside of the ProgramFiles folder, (2) and ran the game from the game folder shortcut (3) as admin. And. It. Worked.
