You can find a working shortcut inside the gog galaxy > games folder

Mine was found at this location :

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Disco Elysium

I had the same issue after installing. At first I tried right-clicking the desktop icon to point it to the "goggame-1771589310.ico" file located in the installation directory, but received an error that this file was not a valid icon. Shortly thereafter I noticed that GOG had not registered that the game was actually installed. What you must do (if you are experiencing the same issue) is click on the game in your Library. Click the MORE drop-down menu, select Manage Installation > Import folder and then navigate to the installation directory and select it. GOG should do then recognize the installation and will replace the desktop icon with the proper one.

i just found an easy way to fix this. go to manage install and click show folder. find the game launcher and right click, copy, paste shortcut wherever you want the correct icon and delete the grey missing icon launcher. i had to fix like 10 missing game icons this way but it works.

Is there any update on this ? Because there is no option to import a folder, and im not shure if the icons found in the show folder option are the one's being used by gog
