I get a CTD as soon as I reach the intro video? Am I alone? Is it known?

EDIT: I got around it, it was due to a setting I had in my drivers:
I had enabled (sorry, don't know what it's called in English) the thing that enhances calculations. I disabled that and now I can play.

Could you check what the feature you disabled is called exactly (in Swedish, English or whatever)?

Apparently there's a bug the prevents the opening video from being played on Win7 64bit. A missing codec or something.
There's already a fix, but the plebs not using Galaxy are left with the short end of the stick once again until an offline backup installer version of the fix is made available hopefully sometime later today.

The "thing" you disabled could be a workaround and waiting for that fix to drop wouldn't be necessary.

Sure, in Swedish it's called:
"Optimera för beräkningsprestanda"

Directly translated to English it would be Optimize for calculations performance I suppose.

I'm using Windows 10 64, and 980 Ti, so yeah, Nvidia.

Cheers, but it turns out the culprit that's causing the CTD/black screen on my end apparently is Win7-specific and can only be solved by a hotfix that of course has not been provided in its offline backup installer format as of yet.
