I'm unable to see achievements in my GOG Galaxy client for Disco Elysium.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes. According to my client (2.0 BTW) achievements aren't supported, which is contrary to what shop page says.

I assume something is broke as they are on steam.

EDIT: I reported it to them. Hopefully it will get patched soon.

Question are you using standard GOG Galaxy, or 2.0 beta?

I'm on GoG Galaxy (not on 2.0) and i don't have achivements too

So it's GOG wide problem, and not just 2.0.

Yeah I hope they are added in. I hope that the achievements tag on the store page wasn't just for the free add on Underrail. I don't care THAT much about achievements but if steam has them, I don't see why GOG can't.

I noticed that more and more often for some games there is a bug that makes the achievements invisible because the developers have forgotten to enable some settings. Maybe it happened in this case too.

A given achievement is invisible but once obtained it returns normally visible. If someone has reached the conditions to unlock an achievement he could confirm or not this theory.

Ugh, why do I feel like I'm going to regret buying this on GOG.

Achievements were removed from the store page, so unless the dev says otherwise - they're likely not happening.

Interesting, I'm starting to wonder if this has anything to do with cloud saves suddenly not working.
Wish we'd get a response, if they weren't going to support GoG in the first place why release here?

Ok, so the achievements weren't there.

The game has an official Discord server where you can talk to developers, I would say that more people will require them, more possibilities there is that they add them even on GOG. Maybe they are already working on them but they weren't ready for the launch of the game, it wouldn't be the first time.

This is terrible news. Some folks may have bought because of the achievements support. This is an argument for requesting a refund.

That would be me, it was actually what I checked before buying on GoG.
I won't request a refund myself, hopefully they'll at least be able to fix cloud saves.

On Discord someone has already asked about the achievements on GOG and the devs have already confirmed that they will implement them as soon as possible. Good news after all!

Has anyone been asking about the Cloud sync not working? I assume that's a GOG-specific problem instead.

But back to the achievements, it's a bit disappointing they listed them originally as included on the store page.
